We founded nye horisonter with the goal of bringing more hope and beauty to a world that desperately needs it. We are surrounded by stories of perseverance, triumph, and success. Why not tell those?
And so we came together to bring our own life, cultural, and work experiences to help tell better stories. Stories that could truly change how people think about one another and the world we live in. With a nimble team and a large network, there is no story too big or small for us to tell.
Additionally, when films are shot in countries outside of Europe or the US, we seek to hire locally to maximize the impact of the production on the country as well. By doing so, we make sure that the films are as authentic as possible – human-centric storytelling from those who understand the language, culture, and land best.
Founder
Christopher Larson
Christopher Larson has 8 years of experience in film and storytelling. Born in the US, he holds two Masters from Oxford University and lives with his wife and baby boy in Berlin. His passion is getting to know new people and exploring new cultures, always seeking to tell stories in a way that is authentic, ethical, and honest. This has led him to complete 5 short documentaries, winning Best Short Documentary and Best Character Driven Documentary for his film The Fisherman's Net. His films have been screened worldwide.

Caio Silva
Caio based in Berlin, originally from Brazil. With nearly a decade in the film industry, he has worked in both production and post-production on documentaries and feature films. His passion is telling personal and authentic stories that capture the essence of human experiences. In post-production, he focuses on the details of editing, color grading, and sound design to ensure each film is the best it can be. When he's not working, you’ll find him exploring Berlin’s hidden gems with his family, always on the hunt for the perfect cup of coffee.
