Dominique is a 15-minute documentary that invites you into the life of 28-year-old Dominique, a woman with Down syndrome whose days are filled with laughter, purpose, and the quiet strength of family. Set in Spearfish, South Dakota, the film captures Dominique hunting with her father, singing at home, and radiating warmth in the restaurant where she works.
For too long, people with disabilities have been defined by what they can't do. Dominique offers a different perspective — one of joy, independence, and deep connection. By sharing Dominique's everyday life, we aim to foster understanding, break down stereotypes, and celebrate the power of inclusion and family support.
