DOMINIQUE
Dominique follows a young woman with Down syndrome as she moves through work, family, friendship, hunting, and daily life in South Dakota. The film offers an intimate portrait of independence, dignity, and a life too often underestimated.

Dominique aired on South Dakota Public Broadcasting and was nominated for awards at DOCUTAH and the Wyoming International Film Festival. The film is now used for education, disability inclusion, hiring conversations, vocational rehabilitation, and community screenings
DISTILLED
Thirty years after fleeing the war in Bosnia, Asmir Hadzibeganovic returns to his hometown for the first time. What begins as a journey back becomes a quiet reflection on exile, memory, and belonging.

Distilled has screened at universities and cultural organizations, including UCONN and Brandeis, where Christopher Larson also joined as a guest speaker. The film is available for university licensing, community screenings, migration-focused events, and educational use.

THE FISHERMAN'S NET
Set along the coast of Zanzibar, The Fisherman’s Net follows fishing communities facing the pressures of climate change, overfishing, and a changing way of life. The film captures the fragile relationship between ocean, livelihood, and cultural survival.
​
The Fisherman’s Net won awards at Bristol Independent Film Festival, Filmaus Berlin, and Trees & Seas Film Festival. The film is now distributed through See Positive Change, a platform for social and environmental impact films.

BAJA SIERRA TRAIL
Baja Sierra Trail follows Mexican endurance athlete Zelzin Aketzalli as she maps the Baja Sierra Trail, Mexico's first thru-hiking trail. The route will move through some of Mexico’s most remote and striking landscapes. The film explores endurance, land, identity, and what it means to move through a place with history, culture, and responsibility.

The project has already secured early support from outdoor and endurance brands including Rab, Altra, Sawyer, and Outside Magazine. It is currently being developed as a documentary with a strong adventure, cultural, and environmental focus, with further production and distribution partners being sought.
REVERBERATIONS
Reverberations follows decorated German combat medic Annika Schröder, who survived the deadliest battle in contemporary German military history and now runs a fragile refuge for veterans on a remote farm in eastern Germany. As she cares for others living with the invisible wounds of war, she is drawn toward a possible return to Afghanistan to confront the past she cannot escape.

The project was selected for Documentary Campus development and is being developed by Nye Horisonter with director Killian Bayer, a former member of the German military and journalist who has filmed in Afghanistan. The film is currently seeking further funding, production partners, and broadcast or festival opportunities.
BEYOND THE BREAK
Beyond the Break follows Robbe, a surfer whose life was once shaped by the ocean until a mental health crisis in Indonesia forced him out of the water entirely. The film traces his return to the place where everything unraveled, exploring identity, fear, healing, and what it means to rebuild trust in yourself.

The project has begun production in Europe, with scenes already filmed around Robbe’s present-day life, preparation, surfing, and personal reflections. The next stage of production focuses on Indonesia, where the story will return to the place at the center of Robbe’s crisis and recovery.
